Where do Kings Bouncy Castle Hire operate?

Kings Bouncy Castle Hire Cheltenham provides bouncy castle hire in all areas of Cheltenham. We cover all of Cheltenham town, its suburbs, local villages and all the way out into the Cotswolds. If you have a Cheltenham postcode, then we will deliver!

How can we book with you?

Booking online is best- this way our customers have sight of our terms and conditions before making a reservation. Below each product listing, customers will see a Big Green Book Online Button. Simply press here and you will enter the online booking system. Customers are able to check their favourite inflatable is available on the day they want it before making a booking.

How long can we hire the inflatable or soft play for?

Customers can hire the inflatable equipment for up to 8 hours. If you would like the party equipment longer, our online booking system allows you to add an overnight option or additional days which are offered at a reduced price which is pre-set and visible on all product listings.

Can I hire multiple inflatables?

Yes you can! Simply begin the booking process for the first item. Customers are presented with additional products they may wish to add to the order. You can select as many as you like. We are pleased to offer a 10% discount to customers who book 3 or more products in one order.

What is the latest time we can have the inflatables?

Our online booking system allows customers to book their hire until 7pm. During weekends and over the summer months, our team may reach customers a little later than this due to demand and team capacity. Whilst we appreciate customers may like their party equipment later into the evening, but we have to be mindful of our staff working hours and allowing sufficient rest for them in between shifts. For collections later than 7pm, customers will need to add the overnight hire option to their booking and have the equipment collected by the team the following morning.

Do we need to book in advance?

Booking in advance will reserve and secure your chosen bouncy castle or inflatable for your event. We have multiples of some products but we operate on a first come, first serve basis so booking in advance of your event is always advised to avoid disappointment. We do not charge any fees for changing the date or arrangements of your booking so it is best to get it in the system early- we are always happy to support customers to make changes when required.

Do you take last-minute bookings?

Last-minute bookings will not be available online, however we may still have products available at short notice. You can contact us via text, call, whatsapp and social media for last minute bookings and we will do our best to help.

What time will my bouncy castle be delivered?

We aim to deliver our products according to your schedule. Our delivery team will be in touch by phone the day before your event to confirm your delivery time.

Do you set up the inflatable?

Yes. Our staff will ensure your inflatable is installed and anchored securely before leaving your event. This process takes around 10 minutes.

Can I move or relocate the bouncy castle?

No, customers cannot move the inflatable once it has been inflated and secured. The positioning of the inflatable needs to be installed and safety checked at each hire by our staff for safety and insurance purposes.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we hold a £5 million Public Liability Insurance policy which we share with customers at the point of booking, via email. Many venues and event locations will ask to see this and we are happy for you to share it with them. Customers can always get in touch via email or our contact form if they require another copy of the policy.

Are your bouncy castles tested?

Yes, the team complete routine safety checks of the inflatable and electrical products before each hire. Our bouncy castles and all inflatables are also tested annually by reputable inspectors. Our blowers and all electrical equipment is PAT tested annually.

Do we need an electricity supply?

Yes, although we carry extension leads, we will need access to electricity. If you believe that this will be an issue, please hire a generator - this will enable us to run the bouncy castles when there is no access to mains power.

What surfaces can bouncy castles go on?

Bouncy castles and other inflatables can go indoors and outdoors on grass and hard surfaces. Please note that the surface must not be sloped, and that stakes will be required to anchor the bouncy castle into the ground, which will put small holes in lawns and astroturf. Please let us know about your intended location for the product, as outdoors on hard surfaces can be challenging and may be impossible for safety reasons.

Do I need to do anything to prepare the surface for the bouncy castle or inflatable?

Our team will require clear and obstruction free access to the bouncy castle or inflatable site. Ideally, at least 3ft width to operate our sack trucks. Please ensure the area is clean and free of sharp objects and protrusions that may damage the inflatable. Any animal waste also needs to be cleared for health and safety reasons.

Are there any precautions needed when using a bouncy castle?

Due to the material on the bouncy castle, they can cause friction burns at times. It is advisable to wear sensible clothing to limit and prevent this. People who are unwell or have or have had back and neck injuries are advised against using the bouncy castles at all. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions page for all safety information.

Can bouncy castles and inflatables be used in adverse weather conditions?

With caution and common sense, yes they can. The main weather-related hazard for bouncy castle and inflatable safety is wind. If strong winds of 24mph or more are forecast on the day of your event, we will be forced to cancel or rearrange all outdoor bookings. Please see our Adverse Weather policy for more information.

Do your bouncy castles have rain covers?

Yes, Some of our inflatables are completely weather proof such as our disco domes, inflatable nightclubs and igloo. Additionally, many of our inflatables have shower proof canopies. Please review the product listing image for more information. Bouncy castles and inflatables can endure a light rain shower however, in heavy rain, they can become slippery and increase risk of harm and/or injury.

Are bouncy castles safe to use in hot weather?

They are, as long as you keep the users well hydrated- we find a big supply of lolly pops help with this! It is also sensible to turn off the blower every few hours to let them cool down for 5-10 minutes in very high temperatures or heat waves.

Will you deliver to halls and venues?

Of course! Many of our bouncy castles and inflatables are suitable for indoor events and parties, we have a specific ‘indoor inflatables’ category for items which are frequently hired and suitable for indoor venue hires. Check the individual product listing for size and suitability. We ask that you confirm the ceiling height of the hall before booking an inflatable. Our product dimensions are listed on each product listing.

What should we do if we need to cancel?

Please get in touch as soon as you can via email. You can reply to your booking confirmation email (or any email we have sent to you). It is helpful if you include your 4 digit booking reference number so we can assist you promptly.
